Aug 30, 2008 Hadley/Northampton

I Spent the morning Birding the Hadley/Northampton area. While there wasn’t a lot of noticeable migrates, I was able to find a few things.

Hadley- (So.Maple St./Mt.Warner Rd )

Killdeer (8)
Greater Yellowlegs (1). Small drainage pool near the Home Depot under construction. Rte 9/So.Maple.
Willow Flycatcher (2)
Warbling Vireo (1)
Red-eyed Vireo (1)
Yellow Warbler (2)


Hadley – Family Golf Center (Rte 9) probably best before 8am.

No. Mockingbird (5)

Hadley Cove – Some mudflats. Lowest the river has been in a while.

Northampton- East Meadows. A couple small fields have been plowed.
